Mara Christian Fellowship, Bangalore was formally established on September 26, 2006 at the meeting of Mara Students' Organisation, Branch Bangalore where MSO leaders and Mara elders had anonymously decided to form Mara Christian Fellowship. Though there was the desire to form such fellowship in the past, especially in the year 2004, it could not materialize due to various factors and reasons. We still cherish the work of the Holy Spirit that spoke to those concerns brothers and Sisters who had visioned to establish this fellowship.

On the same day, Mara Christian Fellowship, Bangalore leaders were elected by the members present. The followings are the first Leaders that were elected for the year 2006-2007:
